A 21-year-old man from the Dundee area has been charged in connection with the match between Aberdeen and Rangers at Pittodrice in September.
It is alleged an Aberdeen supporter was struck by two chairs during the game on Sunday, September 25.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
