A 71-year-old Dundee man who was found dead in the water by his boat at a Spanish marina has been named as Joseph Williams. It is understood an autopsy has confirmed Mr Williams died as a result of drowning. He had last been seen heading to his boat on Saturday night. Spanish police have said there is no evidence to suggest Mr Williams’s death was anything but an accident. It is understood Mr Williams had been living on his 38-foot sailing vessel Talal for several months. It had been moored at Alcaidesa Marina in La Linea, which lies directly opposite Gibraltar. It is understood Mr Williams still has family living in St Andrews.
