Firefighters had to rescue a man who fell while aboard a ship in Dundee on Thursday afternoon.
The man was lifted to safety by firefighters using a ship crane.
The rescue effort took place on a ship near Dundee’s Prince Charles Wharf just before 3.30pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed: “We assisted the ambulance service with the rescue of a man from a ship.
“He had fallen on-board and was in quite an inaccessible location.
“He was taken to an ambulance. We received the call at 3.27pm and left the area at 4.15pm.”
A spokesperson from the Port of Dundee said: “We are aware of an incident involving a crew member aboard a vessel currently berthed at the port of Dundee.
“A crew member has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
