Hundreds of students from Abertay University braved the cold on Friday to celebrate their winter graduation ceremony.
About 220 graduates celebrated the end of their university education with loved ones by receiving their certificates at a ceremony at Dundee’s Caird Hall.
As well as the students, the university’s former principal Professor Nigel Seaton was awarded with an honorary degree.
He stood down earlier this year after almost 10 years at the helm.
Professor Seaton said ahead of the event: “I am delighted to be receiving an honorary degree from Abertay University and I am very much looking forward to sharing in the happy occasion that is the graduation ceremony.”
Joining him was Mary Haeburn-Little, chief executive of Business Resilience International Management, who said she was “humbled” to receive the recognition.
Former university secretary Sheena Stewart was made an honorary fellow of the university after working there for 30 years.
Our photographer Gareth Jennings went along to capture the happy day.
