Pictures and video as Craigiebank Church in Dundee demolished

The historic building on Greendykes Road has been torn down after being deemed to be dangerous last year.

New pictures and video have shown the demolition of Craigiebank Church in Dundee.

The building on Greendykes Road has been torn down after it was deemed to be in a dangerous condition.

Work began to remove the church on January 26.

Now, little remains of the site with part of the building’s entrance all that is left to come down.

Craigiebank Church dates from the 1930s and has been home to a number of groups including the Boys’ Brigade, Guides and the Women’s Guild.

A spokesman for the Church of Scotland says the site will now be put up for sale, potentially for housing.
