Broughty Ferry lifeboat crews came to the rescue of a yacht that broke loose in strong wind and was in danger of being smashed against the estuary wall.
The Mohawk was pounding against the estuary wall before it was towed back to its mooring spot.
Members of the public raised the alarm after spotting the unmanned Mohawk vessel pounding against the wall at Douglas Terrace around 6pm.
Three crew members were first on the scene on the inshore lifeboat (ILB), and were joined shortly afterwards by colleagues on the all-weather lifeboat Elizabeth of Glamis.

One crew member onboard the ILB boarded the Hawk 20 craft and secured a line to allow it to be towed back out to its mooring spot in the Tay at around 6.20pm.
A spokesman for Broughty Ferry lifeboat station said the boat, from Royal Tay Yacht Club, appeared to have escaped any significant damage.
The Mohawk is towed by to safety, with the all-weather lifeboat standing by.
