The disappearance of Fife dad Reece Rodger on a Perthshire camping trip is to feature on a Channel 5 show on Thursday night.

Reece’s partner Paula Airzee, along with his mum, will appear on Vanished: The Hunt for Britain’s Missing People.

The 28-year-old was last seen with friends on the shores of Loch Rannoch two-and-a-half weeks ago.

Now Paula says she is preparing to speak on the live show – presented by Dan Walker – in an effort to help find Reece, from Rosyth.

Writing on Facebook, Paula said: “Reece’s mum and I will be featuring on the programme Vanished. Please tune in and encourage others to do the same.

“Today has been one of the hardest days yet, but I will do it time and time again if it means I can get you Reece because we don’t just want you, we need you.”

Vanished, inspired by a similar programme looking into the disappearance of Nicola Bulley, started last week and featured the search for missing Highland man Finn Creaney.

It comes after more than 200 people joined the search for Reece in the Loch Rannoch area at the weekend.

Reece was camping on the north shore of the loch, near Killichonan, on Saturday March 18.

He was last seen around 11.30pm when it was believed he was going to bed, but there was no trace of him the following morning.

Police say a man matching Reece’s description was reportedly seen on the road between Liarn Farm and Aulich around 11.30pm on the Saturday.

Officers are also investigating a possible sighting the following day at around 8am on the B846, about a mile east of Aulich.

Anyone with information about Reece’s disappearance is being urged to call 101 and quote reference number 1348 of March 19.
