A motorcyclist has died following a road accident near Dairsie.
The 54-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision happened on the A91 Guardbridge to Dairsie road at around 5.40pm on Saturday evening.
The incident involved the biker’s green Kawasaki motorcycle and a blue Toyota Yaris car.
Emergency services races to the scene, near the entrance to Clayton caravan park.
But sadly the motorcyclist, who had been travelling with a fellow rider, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed the A91 for several hours.
Now police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Nicola Young of the divisional road police unit, said a number of people had stopped to help at the scene of the incident.
“However, we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any of these vehicles before the collision.”
She appealed to anyone who had information which could help with the police investigation, including dashcam footage, to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3359 of 21 September 2019.
