Locals in Angus enjoyed a weekend of Guy Fawkes Day celebrations.
Carnoustie held its traditional torchlight procession through the town on Saturday, as well as a bonfire and fireworks display organised by the coastguard near Black Slab car park.
Arbroath locals flocked to the town’s marine base at RM Condor for a community-funded fireworks display on Sunday.

The venue for this year’s spectacle, organised by Fireworks for Arbroath, was moved to the military base amid concerns over safety at the usual site, Inchcape Park, which is located close to the dual carriageway.

The community group brought back celebrations to the town in 2015 after no fireworks celebrations were held the previous year.
Between 7,000 and 10,000 people have attended each year since but the numbers watching from the dual carriageway had become a concern for Police Scotland and Angus Council.
Kirriemuir Hill and Edzell Muir also hosted fireworks displays on Saturday.
