Tributes to Perthshire cancer campaigner Fi Munro have flooded in since her family announced her death.
Award-winning Carse of Gowrie researcher and writer Fi Munro passed away on July 7, shortly after stopping treatment for the ovarian cancer she had been fighting for four and a half years.
The 34-year-old spent her time since diagnosis documenting her journey and not only raising money for cancer charities but inspiring others to raise thousands through her random acts of kindness.
Her husband Ewan has asked that people pay tribute to her by continuing her goodwill gestures.
The Eve Appeal, a charity which raises money and awareness for gynaecological cancers, thanked her for her involvement in supporting them.
A spokesperson said: “Fi spoke so powerfully about her diagnosis of ovarian cancer at our parliamentary event to launch ovarian cancer awareness month 2019.
“Fi moved the room with her words. All thoughts and love to her family and many, many friends.”
Ovarian Cancer Action have also heaped praise on the 34-year-old’s mammoth efforts.
The charity said: “With the heaviest of hearts, we share that Fi Munro has passed away.
“Fi was a talented author, researcher and campaigner for women with ovarian cancer.
“Whilst undergoing treatment, Fi channelled her energy into helping others and delivering random acts of kindness.”
Deputy First Minister John Swinney said: “Throughout her illness, Fiona displayed a courage, grace and warmth that captured the hearts of those across Perthshire.
“Following her devastating diagnosis, Fiona made the decision not to retreat into herself but to raise awareness so that other women would not suffer as she did. Her selfless actions have very probably saved lives.
“I hope that the good wishes and support of all those across Perthshire and beyond will provide some comfort to Fi’s family and friends at this difficult time.”

Alexander Stewart MSP added: “At the tragic news of her passing, I was very keen to pay tribute to Fi Munro, not least for her extraordinary courage in the face of such a debilitating disease but also for having the sheer courage and wherewithal to fight her harrowing illness for so long, with every last fibre of resolve.
“My thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her husband Ewan and her family at this extremely sad time.”
Fi had been fundraising to travel to America this year and try new medical options. During previous treatment, her womb and spleen were removed.
