Thousands of music fans have arrived at historic Scone Palace for an action-packed weekend of live music, eighties anthems and questionable fashion.
The 2018 Rewind Festival got off to a soggy start on Friday as campers from across the country flocked to the Perthshire showground.
Revellers were treated to a live set from Glasgow band Hipsway, as well as a silent disco and an 80’s-infused ceilidh.

The festival proper gets under way on Saturday with music from The Skids, Roachford and Peter Hook and the Light.
Other highlights include Kim Appleby (of Mel and Kim fame), Live Aid star Howard Jones, former Fine Young Cannibal Roland Gift and Tiffany.
The music continues with Odyssey, Martha Wash – the original Weather Girl – and the Gipsy Kings.
The headline act for day one is Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, better known as OMD.
This is the band’s third attempt to play at Scone.
Frontman Andy McCluskey told The Courier: “It’s very exciting for us.
“It will be the first time we’ve actually done it properly. We cancelled five years ago and we had to do it as a three-piece three years ago, because Paul Humphreys was in hospital in New York having his gall bladder taken out.
“So finally, we get to do a proper gig at Perth.”
He said: “I have to say last time, even though the heavens opened before we played, the audience was sensational.
“I hadn’t been to Perth for a very long time. My dad is from Glasgow and as kids we spent a lot of time holidaying and caravanning across Scotland, so it was really my first time in Perth since then.
“It was great to have a wander around the town when we were there last time, which I’m hoping to do again this weekend.
“Although because of Rewind and the golf, we aren’t able to stay in the area. We’ve had to spend the night in Edinburgh.”
He said there was a simple formula to Rewind’s success.
“You have a soundtrack from when you became you,” he said. “And that stays with you all your life. People love to go and spent a day listening to the hits – and only the hits – that resonate with them and remind them of that time.”
Retro rockers Status Quo will headline Sunday’s line-up, with Bonnie Tyler, Midge Ure and Heaven 17.
Organisers have also promised live games of bingo and karaoke between sets on the main stage.
