Wide range of performers to take the stage at Perth Concert Hall and Theatre

Perth audiences can enjoy performances ranging from Fife’s beloved twins The Proclaimers to pantomime favourites over the coming months.

The list of shows at Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre has been launched for the autumn and winter period.

Running from September to December, Perth Concert Hall will host an array of regular series and one-off events.

Music fans will welcome one of Scotland’s biggest bands as The Proclaimers will head to the Fair City.

Fellow Scot Marti Pellow will also take to the stage, while 1970s British pop rock group 10cc will perform their famous hits.

The autumn and winter brochure was launched at the concert hall.

International stars The Osmonds will touch down at the concert hall as part of their UK tour.

A host of the UK’s top comedic acts will entertain locals, including Sarah Millican, Jason Manford and Scottish joker Daniel Sloss.

Perthshire’s cycling hero Mark Beaumont will see the film for his world breaking feat Around the World in 80 Days screened at the concert hall.

Art fanatics will be able to visit concert hall throughout autumn for New Order, Other Spaces, an art space celebrating the gymnastic body.

Regulars such as the lunchtime concerts series, Perth Piano Sundays, Russian State Opera and Perth Concert series will all return.

Scottish Opera will showcase extracts from some one of the world’s most famous operas in Opera Highlights, while Russell Watson will bring his show Canzoni d’Amore.

Former Britain’s Got Talent stars Flawless and Strictly Come Dancing champions Harry Judd and Louis Smith will join JLS singer Aston Merrygold in a song and dance performance called Rip It Up.

Dance classes and musical sessions will be on offer for keen locals.

Tributes to the First World War and Second World War will also be showcased in a number of artistic forms.

Perth Theatre’s second year in operation after its multi-million-pound refurbishment will host a number of family pantomimes.

The concert hall hosted the winter shows during the theatre’s reconstruction, but traditionalists will be glad they are staying in their original home this year.

Snow White and the Seven Dames will headline the panto season, with The Polar Bears Go Up! another Christmas treat for the children at the theatre.

Elsewhere for children in Perth Theatre, Scottish Opera will host an interactive introduction to opera with their show BamBinO.

A one-man performance of Macbeth by Andy Cannon will also be held for younger audiences.
