IN PICTURES: Sun shines for the Great Scottish Tattie Run

Huge crowds descended on Perth city centre on Saturday, as it played host to six huge events including the Great Scottish Tattie Run.

As well as the run, visitors were brought to the city centre to take in the inaugural Women’s Tour of Scotland Cycle Race, Perthshire Pride, the Touch of Tartan Perth Half Marathon, medieval fayre and St Johnstone’s first home league game of the season.

The success of “Super Saturday” has prompted serious discussions to try and bring the event back for a second year.
