East Fife player/manager Gary Naysmith does not want his team to get carried away by their draw and penalty shoot-out win against Premiership Dundee.
The Methil men face Dumbarton tonight at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium.
The Sons sit on one point after a 2-2 draw at Forfar, however they missed out on a bonus point after losing on penalties.
Naysmith said: “It is important not to get carried away but that extra point becomes really important if we win this game as we move four points clear of Dumbarton.
“They still have Dundee and Peterhead to face and I would imagine they would not want us having that advantage at this stage.
“I am sure that means they will have a real go but we will be having a real go to win the game as well. I was really happy with how we played against Dundee.”
Despite that performance Naysmith will make changes for this game. Tony Wallace is fit to return.
