Wayne Rooney has scored a “stunning” goal on his return to Everton.

The striker started his first game for the club in 13 years after his signing from Manchester United was confirmed at the weekend.

The 31-year-old started for the side against Kenyan champions Gor Mahia FC as Everton visit Tanzania, scoring an epic goal within just 34 minutes.

Everton won the game 2-1.

The England captain scored 183 goals in 393 appearances for Man Utd, and has been capped 119 times for the national side.
