Forfar manager Jim Weir is hoping to complete two signings in the next few days.
The Station Park boss takes his side to Airdrie for this season’s final fixture, with planning for their next campaign already well underway.
“I’ve got nine players signed up for next year,” he said. “Which is more than I’ve had at any of my previous clubs.
“Now it’s about adding a bit more quality. I’m hoping to get a couple in by the end of next week.
“It would be good to get some business done early but I’m sure, like most clubs, we won’t get everybody in until the end of the window.”
As for today’s game, Weir said: “The pressure is off.
“The players should be relaxed and hopefully we’ll finish the season with a win.
“It’s certainly much better than what Queen’s Park and Albion Rovers are facing on the last day of the season. The players got the job done a couple of weeks ago.
“I always want to win, whatever the circumstances are, and this game is no different.”
