Arbroath boss Dick Campbell is looking for his team to further cement their place at the top of the table at Stranraer this afternoon and continue what has been an unbeaten start to the league season.
However, the Gayfield gaffer has revealed he is not content to rest on his laurels and already has one eye on bolstering his formidable squad in the January transfer window.
The Red Lichties secured another three points last weekend at home, coming from behind to beat Dumbarton 3-1.
The game was also notable for Steven Doris scoring the team’s second goal – 406 days after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.
Campbell admitted he was delighted for the striker but despite his scoring exploits he may have to be content with a place on the bench again at Stranraer.
The manager said: “I was very pleased to pick up another win last week against Dumbarton to keep our great run going at the top of the table.
“I was also delighted for Steven getting his goal.
“After being out for so long, it really was a fairy-tale for him and you saw just how much it meant to everyone at the club with the celebrations.
“It is like having a new signing but despite that, it would be difficult to make changes to my starting line-up for the trip to Stranraer.
“Mark Whatley has a wee niggle and we will have to leave it until the last minute to see whether he will make it but apart from that we have a clean bill of health.
“A visit to Stranraer is never easy but we will just look to do what we have been doing and see what is in front of us.”
Campbell added: “We have got off to a great start but nobody will be resting on their laurels.
“We have loads of firepower with the likes of Callum Smith, Gavin Swankie, Michael McKenna, Ryan Wallace, Danny Denholm and Bobby Linn while we also have a rock-solid defence.
“However, myself and my staff are already working hard behind the scenes to identify potential targets for the January window.
“I am hoping to bring in one or maybe two players to bolster the squad for the second half of the campaign.”
