Arbroath boss Dick Campbell has been hit with an eight-game touchline ban by the SFA.
The veteran manager was at Hampden yesterday for a disciplinary hearing after being sent to the stand by referee Craig Napier during the Red Lichties’ game with Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park at the start of October.
Campbell, who had been charged with two offences, was handed an immediate six-game suspension.
However, back in February, the 64-year-old was given a seven-game ban after walking onto the pitch to confront whistler Mike Roncone during a Scottish Cup tie with Ayr.
That tribunal also imposed a two-match suspension in the event of a further breach and that has now kicked in, meaning Campbell is banned for eight games in total.
He said: “I thought it was a fair hearing yesterday but I will be back in the stand for the next few games.”
