Dundee still working hard on plans to play Celtic in the States

Dundee managing director John Nelms has revealed that the club are still working hard behind the scenes with their plans to play Celtic in the United States next season.
News of the bold move to stage a Scottish League game abroad for the first time broke back in November with Philadelphia believed to be the choice of venue.
The clubs still require the approval of the game’s ruling bodies, but once the top-flight fixtures for next season are announced, efforts will be focused on arranging a suitable date in the calendar.
Nelms said last night: “We are working very hard to move things forward. It’s an exciting prospect for everyone involved.
“We want to make Dundee and Scottish football a global brand.”
