Dundee wait to discover severity of Calvin Colquhoun injury

Dundee should know later today whether youngster Calvin Colquhoun has sustained a serious injury in the Dark Blues’ pre-season opener at Dumbarton.
The Dens Park side won 2-1 but the gloss was taken off the evening when Colquhoun was stretchered off just two minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute.
Manager Paul Hartley wasn’t happy with the challenge by a Dumbarton trialist that ended Colquhoun’s match so abruptly.
He said: “It was a nasty challenge and we will know more in the morning once we get Calvin checked out.”
That incident apart, Hartley was satisfied with what he witnessed.
“Overall it was a really good workout,” he pointed out.
“I thought that we played some really sharp football.
“When you consider we only got back together last Wednesday I am really pleased with what I saw.”
