A second Dundee goalkeeper is set to head out on loan, with Calum Ferrie moving to Stirling Albion.
Kyle Gourlay will come up against him in league Two with Elgin City.
Ferrie joined the Dark Blues two years ago from Port Vale, with the 20-year-old appearing as a substitute in a 4-0 defeat to Rangers before starting against Partick Thistle in the last game of the season.
Jack Hamilton and Elliott Parish will battle for the number one jersey at Dens.
