Dundee United have welcomed American forward Joshua Perez to Tannadice.
The 22-year-old, who has featured in Italy’s Serie A with Fiorentina, has come over from the United States, where he latterly played with Los Angeles FC.
Perez was a trialist in today’s reserve match against Morton – scoring in a 4-0 victory – while French-Tunisian winger Manoubi Haddad is still on trial.
Haddad, 23, has been training with the Tangerines squad for over a week.
Manager Robbie Neilson said previously: “I said we are looking for pace in the wide areas and he fits that bill.
“He thought he would get a move in January and it didn’t happen but we have managed to get him in as a free agent.
“It is through Tony’s scouting contacts.”
