Croatian side Rijeka are keen to take Tam Courts away from Dundee United, Courier Sport can reveal.
It is understood they have made contact with the Tangerines, with an unnamed English club also enquiring about his situation in recent days.
Rijeka recently parted company with their boss Goran Tomic.
If the Croatians follow-up their initial interest, Jack Ross would be the strong favourite to take over at Tannadice.
Courts had a superb first season as United manager, guiding them to fourth in the Premiership and into Europe.
The Tangerines boss was promoted to Tannadice’s top coaching job from within, having spent time working as head of tactical performance at the club’s academy.
Rijeka pedigree
Rijeka have been impressed by Courts’ work and are keen to take the United boss to Croatia.
They are one of the top sides in their country, finishing fourth in their country’s top division last season and landing a spot in the second qualifying round of the Europa Conference League.
They have twice faced Aberdeen in Europa League qualifying in recent years and beat Hibs – ironically with Jack Ross in charge – in last year’s Conference League.
