A planning application for three new luxury country homes in Kinross has been submitted.
The new development at Wester Balgedie, four miles from Kinross, is for three family homes meeting high sustainability standards.
The properties will benefit from air source heat pumps and solar panels.
They will be constructed from Siberian Larch and have zinc roofs, as well as an entire glass gable end with views towards Loch Leven.
Kinross-based developer Webster Homes is expecting the application to be approved mid-summer.
Founder Daniel Webster expects the homes will go on the market for around £600,000.
He said: “We are continuing with our unique selling point of choosing the very best rural locations at which to build.
“We create exclusive hamlets of superbly finished homes, on large plots, that are perfectly in tune with their surroundings.”
The Wester Balgedie houses will include fitted kitchens with built-in appliances and a surround sound system throughout the home.
Each property will be built with solid oak doors, skirtings and facings. They will also have fitted wardrobes, underfloor heating and en-suites.
“We use the very latest techniques to create energy-efficient properties that offer the occupants lower running costs,” said Mr Webster.
“Subject to build schedule, we offer our buyers the opportunity to put their own stamp on their properties at a very early stage, incorporating extras such as log-burning stoves, sunrooms and layout changes.”
Webster Homes developments
Webster Homes’ first development at Gairneybank, consisting of five homes, were all sold from plan.
The firm has experienced a similar demand at its second site, The Paddocks, Powmill, where all but one home has been sold from plan.
Prices at The Paddocks have ranged from £550,000 to £615,000.
While there are no prices yet for Wester Balgedie, they are likely to be in the same range.
Sister company Webster Developments recently completed a £1.3 million housing development in Perth.
It is also due to complete eight flats for Hillcrest Homes in Kinross this year.
Mr Webster’s business empire also includes hot air balloons, self-storage and honey.
