The best and worst GP practices in Tayside and Fife for patient satisfaction have been revealed in statistics from Public Health Scotland.

Health chiefs sent out more than 500,000 surveys to homes across the country late last year asking for feedback – but just under a quarter responded.

Patients gave their thoughts on the overall care they’ve received as well as specific points about how they thought their last GP appointment went.

But what were the scores for GP surgeries in Dundee, Fife, Perth & Kinross and Angus?

Here, we break down patient satisfaction scores by area – and you can find the results for your local practice in our searchable table further down.

How does my area compare?

Across Scotland, the average practice received 67% positive feedback and 14% negative.

As health and social care partnerships, Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles all fared the best in the country, with more than 80% positive responses in each.

Perth & Kinross scored 74%, Angus 70%, Dundee City 67% with Fife trailing on at 63%.

Where are the stand-out practices in my area?

Top performer: Westgate Medical Practice (86.83% positive).

Worst performer: Ryehill Medical Practice (47.21% positive) confirmed its closure earlier this year.
