Emergency water mains repairs have forced the closure of a busy Fife coastal road.
The A917 in Anstruther has been closed to all traffic while Scottish Water engineers undertake vital repairs.
The closure is from the junction with Buckie House and The Esplanade along through to the junction with High Street West.
Local diversion is in place while a number of bus services have been affected by the closure.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “An emergency repair was carried out on Monday to a leaking valve on our network located on the roadway on High Street West, Anstruther.
