Locals and visitors have been given a trip back in time after a series of retro vehicles went on display for the Vintage Car Wheels Weekend in Perth.

Enthusiasts on Tay Street were treated to classics like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which was the centrepiece, as well as the ‘Hong Kong’ Ceremonial Land Rover.

A vintage bus also took revellers from the city centre to Scone Airport to see Morris Leslie’s personal collection of classic cars.

Event-goers enjoyed music from The Old Steam Organ, Perth and District Pipe Band and Perthshire Brass.

Our photographer Steve MacDougall was to get the best pictures from the weekend.
