Arbroath’s hectic schedule of six games in 18 days starts with the long trip to Stranraer tonight.
And manager Dick Campbell believes he has the squad to cope with it.
“We’ve got strength in depth,” said Campbell.
“This is the time of year when that will be important.
“I’ll freshen things up because we’ve got another tough away game at Raith Rovers on Saturday.
“Guys like Bobby Linn, Danny Denholm and Blair Yule were on the bench at the weekend and that means they will be fresh for this one.”
Ryan McCord could return.
Campbell is wary of a Stranraer side which was thrashed by Angus neighbours Forfar on Saturday.
He said: “Stranraer will have been wounded by losing heavily at Forfar and will be out to make amends against us.
“It was a surprise scoreline and we know that they will be hurt.”
An away win would open up a six-point gap on Stranraer and put the Red Lichties in a strong position regarding qualification for the promotion play-offs.
Campbell added: “There’s still a long way to go but this is definitely a good opportunity for us.”
Kyle Turner is a major doubt for the Blues after being injured against Forfar.
