Dundee striker Alex Jakubiak is among the goals once more after impressing for the Dark Blues’ reserve side.
The former Scotland U/19 international joined a number of senior players in heading to Glasgow to face Queen’s Park for a Reserve League clash.
On from the start alongside Jakubiak were Shaun Byrne, Niall McGinn, Fin Robertson and Ben Williamson.
Goalkeeper Harry Sharp got his first taste of action since being ruled out by the sickness bug that has affected the squad recently.
And things got off to a good start as Jakubiak opened the scoring after 10 minutes.
McGinn, who has been frozen out of the first team in recent weeks, laid on the goal after the Spiders were caught in possession at the back.

Dundee steal the ball as Queen’s play it out of defence and McGinn plays to Jakubiak who slots home #thedee

Ex-Watford man Jakubiak, who scored four goals in the first four games of the season for the Dee, has made only two substitute appearances since getting injured at Raith Rovers in August.
But he did his chances of a recall no harm by adding a second goal before half-time, dispossessing the home goalkeeper before firing into an empty net.
Robertson would strike the post in the second half but there would be no more goals at Lochinch Sports Pavilion as the Dark Blues second string earned their first league win of the campaign.
Dundee team: Sharp, Donald (Richardson 68), Strachan, Graham, Wilkie, Williamson, Lamb, Byrne, Jakubiak (White 84), Robertson, McGinn.
Subs not used: Lynch, Murray, Lorimer, Kelly.
