Dundee boss James McPake has made his seventh signing of the summer, with former Hibs defender Jordon Forster joining the Dark Blues.

Forster (25) has penned a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.

The centre-back came through the Easter Road youth ranks before playing 79 times for the Edinburgh side.

He knows what it takes to win the Championship, having claimed a winners’ medal with the Hibees in season 2016/17.

Forster moved south to join Cheltenham Town in 2017.

He was a regular with the English League Two side last season, playing 35 times.

Forster will travel with his new squad mates when Dundee head to Spain tomorrow for a pre-season training camp.
