Storm Ali has forced part of a Dundee garden centre to close.
The historic conservatory at Turriff’s Garden Centre and Farm Shop, which dates back to 1865, was smashed during yesterday’s extreme conditions.
Staff say there will be no access to the gift shop, garden centre, or farm and flower shops on Thursday while repairs take place – however Jessie’s Kitchen remains open.
Staff posted: “Storm Ali came to visit us yesterday and left with part of our roof unfortunately!
“Our Conservatory has been there since 1865 and stood through countless storms but Ali left her mark yesterday.
“Repairs are underway already but today there will be no public access to our Gift area, Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Flower Shop for a good chunk of the day while we get tidy up and sorted.

“Thankfully Jessie’s Kitchen is unaffected and our Cafe will be open as normal.
“Our florists are still working and deliveries will all be going out as normal so if you need anything just give us a call on 01382 778488.
“Hope everyone else out there survived intact!”
Flood warnings are in place across Tayside following Storm Ali, which brought winds of up to 100mph to the local area on Wednesday.
