Police have launched an investigation into the theft of a distinctive mountain bike and tools from a locked shed in Aberfeldy this morning.
The Ibis bike with orange and black decals and full suspension was stolen along with some tools from a secure shed at a property on Tay Bridge Road on Thursday January 2.
The shed was well-secured and required considerable force to open.
A second shed in the area was also broken into but nothing was taken.
Officers believe the items stolen would have required to be carried some distance by at least two people.
Police are asking anyone who has seen the bike or has any information on the theft to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 0940.
