Health and social care workers at the frontline of the coronavirus response have been gifted much-needed hand and face creams.
Kellyanne Muir, from Kirkcaldy, is collecting cash for balms for staff whose skin is suffering from use of PPE including face masks and gloves.
The mum-of-four’s appeal has so far raised almost £900 in donations and the first batches of aloe balms and creams have been delivered to the Victoria Hospital, in Kirkcaldy, and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.
Tubes of cream will also go to a local care home.
As a member of the Essens cosmetics and food supplements company, police officer Kellyanne is able to source the products at cost price.
Fellow Essens members have donated more than 14,600 creams to the NHS since the coronavirus outbreak began.
Kellyanne is collecting donations via a Paypal pool.
